Turn the preview into a plan

An AI hairstyle preview shows the silhouette; these constraints decide whether the cut survives real life. Set them and get three explainable directions with copyable barber briefs.

Three cuts worth discussing

Matched for a oval face, wavy texture, medium length and a low-maintenance ceiling — with every match reason stated, never a hidden score.

EASE / 05

Collarbone Cut + Invisible Layers

01

A collarbone anchor with quiet internal movement and no short layer that needs daily persuasion.

  • A neutral, versatile line lets texture and styling set the mood.
  • Internal room encourages an S pattern while the weighted perimeter limits puffiness.
  • It stays inside your medium-length comfort zone.

CONTROL / 07

Low Taper + Natural Top

02

A low, conservative taper with the natural pattern kept visible through the top and corners.

  • A low taper preserves balance and leaves the top open to personal styling.
  • The top keeps enough length for a real wave rather than an indistinct short bend.
  • It stays inside your medium-length comfort zone.

LINE / 02

Soft-Structured Bob

03

A compact bob with a softened perimeter, subtle graduation and a movable side or centre part.

  • The clean line uses an oval face's flexibility without trying to correct it.
  • A softened edge lets waves buckle naturally instead of forming a triangular shelf.
  • It stays inside your medium-length comfort zone.

How the generation works

MediaPipe maps the hair region in your browser, then the selected hairstyle image or your controlled custom choices guide the preview. The model is instructed to preserve your identity, but generated details can vary.

A preview, not a promise

Diffusion previews show silhouette and length direction. They cannot know your density, growth pattern, cowlicks or shrinkage — the recommendation engine and your stylist still decide what survives daily life.

What happens to your photo

The portrait is processed to render your preview and is not stored on our servers. Hair-region mapping runs on your device; only the crop you approve is sent for generation.

Why the AI hairstyle finder asks four questions

A face outline is not a haircut consultation.

01

Face geometry

Landmarks estimate how the forehead, cheeks, jaw and vertical line relate. They do not measure beauty or identity.

02

Visible pattern

Straight, wavy, curly and coily hair form silhouettes differently. Pattern is treated as a phenotype, never as a proxy for race.

03

Length comfort

A technically flattering crop is a bad recommendation if you do not want short hair. The matcher treats that boundary as real.

04

Maintenance

A line that needs five-week trims or a daily fringe reset should never be sold as effortless. Upkeep changes the rank.

What the evidence supports

Professional haircut consultation standards consistently combine client goals with hair classification, facial characteristics, lifestyle, maintenance and an in-person check of hair and scalp. That is the model this AI hairstyle finder follows: the browser helps organize visible geometry, while you supply preference constraints and the stylist verifies the physical hair.

Hair pattern also exists on a continuum. Research supports phenotype-based descriptions rather than racial categories, and notes that classification systems have real limits. This page therefore uses four broad, self-selected pattern families and never infers ethnicity, porosity, density or health.

AI Hairstyle FAQ

01How does the AI hairstyle changer edit my photo?

Your browser first maps the hair region on your device with MediaPipe segmentation. Your cropped portrait, the hair-region guide and either the selected hairstyle reference or your controlled custom choices are then used to build the preview. The model is instructed to preserve your identity, but generated facial and hair details can vary.

02Is my photo stored after the hairstyle preview is generated?

No. The portrait is processed to render your before/after preview and is not saved to our servers or your account. If you want to keep a result, use the save button to download the generated image to your own device.

03How many AI hairstyle previews can I generate for free?

You can generate three free previews a day without an account, and ten a day when signed in. Each generation runs a diffusion model, which is what the daily ceiling reflects. Higher limits will arrive with the upcoming Pro plan.

04Will the generated hairstyle look exactly like a real haircut on me?

No, and we say so on the result. A diffusion preview is good at showing silhouette, length and overall direction, but it cannot know your hair density, growth pattern, cowlicks or shrinkage. Treat it as a visual reference to bring to the chair, not a guarantee of a salon outcome.

05Which photo works best for an AI hairstyle preview?

A sharp, front-facing portrait in even light with your current hair fully inside the frame. The tool center-crops to a square, so keep your head near the middle. Heavy filters, hats, hands in the hair and extreme angles all reduce the quality of the hair-region map and the generation.

06How do the three haircut recommendations relate to the generator?

They answer the question the picture cannot: whether a cut survives your real life. The recommendation engine ranks a curated catalog against your face shape, visible hair pattern, length comfort and maintenance ceiling, and exposes every match reason.
